Primus Asset Management ® (PAM) manages structured credit funds and operating companies, across a range of asset classes – including investment grade, high yield and leveraged loans – using both cash and synthetic instruments. PAM employs fundamental, bottom-up analysis combined with a macro view to manage portfolios across a variety of strategies from directionally long-term to total return.
Investment Grade
Primus’ investments in investment grade credit assets are primarily through its Separately Managed Account (SMA), Primus Financial Products® (PFP), whose portfolio of credit protection totals about $16.4 billion*. The PFP portfolio is managed by a seasoned team of credit professionals employing a fundamental approach to credit analysis.
High Yield and Leveraged Loans
Primus’ high yield and leveraged loan portfolio measures approximately $3.5 billion* and is managed by investment and credit professionals at its CypressTree subsidiary (www.cypresstreeinvestments.com).
